ABOUT SEPC 2005

As a leading professional organization, the
Indonesian Institute of Accountants -Management Accountants Compartment
(IAI-KAM) was organizing an international conference entitled "Sustainable
Enterprise Performance Conference (SEPC) 2005" with the theme "Creating
Value and Meeting Stakeholders' Expectations".
The conference was held in Birawa Assembly Bumikarsa Hotel, Bidakara,
Jakarta, Indonesia on Thursday - Friday, 23 -24 June, 2005, attended
by up to 400 participants including CEO, CFO, COO's, Non executive
board directors, Corporate senior executives, Professional accountants
. Academicians, Entrepreneurs, Government senior officials, Leading
non government organizations (NGO's) , and Other reputable institutions.
The conference is supported by five leading institutions, including:
Ministry of Environment, National Committee on Governance (NCG),
Jakarta Stock Exchange, Forum for Corporate Governance in Indonesia,
and Indonesia-Netherlands Association.
Conference Objective:
IAI-KAM has designed and offered a number of programs since 2003
to actively involve the corporate sector to improve its awareness
and skills in non-financial reporting as well as social and environmental
responsibility. Transparency and best practices are the key ingredients
in these programs. The Conference aims to help businesses and organizations
realize the growing importance of sustainability to their operations,
and accordingly, the Conference involves a number of high profile
worldwide speakers.
The conference is intended to highlight social and environment challenges
and opportunities in order to facilitate growth in sustainable development
initiatives, particularly from the perspective of good corporate
governance and sustainable business practices.
In conjunction with the conference, has also launched the Indonesia
Sustainability Reporting Award (ISRA) and established an independent
institution called "National Center for Sustainability Reporting
(NCSR").
